How Our Kids Program Works
Our Kids Martial Arts classes in Meridian are split into age appropriate groups so the youngest students are not lost in a fast moving room and older kids are not bored. Moogis (Younger Kids Martial Arts) for ages 4 to 7 focuses on listening, balance, and coordination through games and drills that feel like fun. Karate Kids ages 8 to 12 step into a structured Taekwondo curriculum with belt ranks, sparring fundamentals, and goal setting that mirrors the kind of growth they will need in middle school and beyond.
Every class has a clear plan, a warm up, and a takeaway. Instructors check in with parents about what is happening at home and at school so the lessons on the mat connect to real life. We support our local Meridian schools and love hearing when a teacher notices a change in behavior or focus.

You do not need any prior experience to get started. Most of the kids at our Meridian location had never set foot in a dojo before their first class. Our instructors are used to nervous first timers, shy kids, and high energy kids alike, and we pair every new student with classmates who have been right where they are.
If your child is anxious about trying something new, that is normal and we plan for it. Trial classes are low pressure. Parents are welcome to watch from the lobby. There are no tryouts, no cuts, and no expectations beyond showing up and giving honest effort.
All ages five through twelve are welcome, all skill levels, and all body types. The only requirement is a willingness to try.
