Master Jim Neitzell is a dedicated martial artist and instructor committed to developing strong bodies, sharp minds, and confident leaders. As a 6th Degree Black Belt with years of training and teaching experience, he brings passion, discipline, and authenticity to every class he leads.

As a Master-level instructor, Mr. Neitzell believes martial arts is more than physical technique. It is a path to character development. His teaching emphasizes respect, self-control, perseverance, and leadership, helping students grow both on and off the mat. He is known for creating a positive, structured environment where beginners feel welcome and advanced students are continually challenged.

Master Neitzell takes pride in building a school culture rooted in traditional martial arts values while preparing students with practical skills for today's world. Whether working with children learning focus and confidence, teens building discipline, or adults pursuing fitness and self-defense, his mission remains the same: to help every student become the best version of themselves.

Through his leadership, students don't just earn belts. They build character, confidence, and lifelong skills.

Master Heather Neitzell is a 6th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor with decades of martial arts experience. As the founder of Legacy Martial Arts in Meridian, Idaho, she is passionate about using martial arts as a vehicle to build confidence, discipline, and unshakable self-belief in her students.

Heather believes martial arts is more than kicking and punching. It is about developing character, leadership, and resilience. Through high standards, structured training, and positive mentorship, she has helped hundreds of students grow stronger not only physically, but mentally and emotionally.

To change lives through martial arts by building confidence and self-esteem in every student who walks through the doors.

Jaden Vong is a 5th Degree Black Belt and certified instructor who brings over a decade of Taekwondo teaching experience and energy to every class. He began training at age six and has since earned 35 State Championships and 21 District titles. Now, at age 22, he's studying kinesiology with plans to pursue a master's in athletic training, combining martial arts and sports science to help people move better, train smarter, and reach their full potential.

My name is Dylan Wright, I'm a 4th Degree Black Belt and I started Taekwondo in 2009. On my journey I've discovered a love of sharing martial arts with others and see not only a progression in their rank, but also the focus, determination, and discipline they learn along the way. My focus right now is helping our students be the best they can be, and readying myself to test for 5th Degree Black Belt in July.

Ms. Carlson is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and certified instructor at Legacy Martial Arts. She began her martial arts journey at age six and started teaching at Legacy in 2021. She's excited to be training for her 4th Degree, which she plans to test for in the fall of 2026. She is a multi-time State and District Champion as well as a three-time Global Champion, bringing experience and passion to every class.

Ms. Carlson is currently a senior at Rocky Mountain High School and will continue her education this fall at Boise State University, studying media communication and film.

Mr. Iniguez has trained at Legacy Martial Arts since 2013 and has over 13 years of experience in martial arts instruction and competition. His achievements include 15 State Championships, 3 District Championships, and 2 GTMA Global Championships in CXM Forms & Weapons.

He is currently studying kinesiology with an emphasis in rehabilitation sciences at Boise State University. In addition he holds an Associate of Science degree and will complete his Bachelor of Science in May, with plans to pursue a Master's degree in Athletic Training starting in June.

He has also served as Head Coach of the Legacy Martial Arts Demo Team for the past four years, leading students in high-level performances for tournaments and community events.

My name is Medina Ahmeti, I am a 2nd Degree Black Belt at Legacy Martial Arts. My journey started around mid 2018, as I climbed through the ranks, I decided I wanted to eventually be an instructor for the studio. I wanted to become the encouragement kids needed to continue their journey throughout Martial Arts just as my instructors were for me. My job allows me to interact and fuel my students with passion for Martial Arts!

I have chosen Kinesiology and Exercise Science as my college majors and I am on the path of becoming an Athletic Trainer!
